Hi Listers, I'm hoping that someone on the list can give me some ideas on places to look for the above 2 people. In the 1871 census, Emily Telling is at South Cerney (she was born there about 1830 - Emily Dunn) along with her daughter Louisa Telling aged 12. Emily's husband George Telling and their son Frank are living at Ashton Keynes, Wiltshire (which is where George was born). It appears that Emily & George had seperated which also fits in with the family story. This is the last record I have been able to find for Emily & Louisa. I've tried the 1881, 1891 & 1901 census's (Ancestry web site) using just christian names in case there is a transcription error or they both had different names later. I've also followed the families into the 1881 census who they were both living with in 1871 but with no luck. >From the Free BMD web site I have not been able to find a death record or a marriage record for either (George died in July 1882).
