    3. Margaret Thank you for having a look, I also came up with this Robert and Cromall is Cromhall as far as I know unless anyone in GLS can tell me differently. My problem with trying to sort out the dau/gdau issue is that there are baptisms for Robert & Hannah's other children but no Robert. I know this is not conclusive as he could have been baptised somewhere else or I guess not at all. There is a baptism in Cromhall for Robert in 1811 but he is son of Richard & Elizabeth, that would make him 30 in 1841. I think it likely that this is the Robert who married Phoebe. Robert on the marriage cert was a labourer Apart from William I did find one earlier bap a Henry in 1814 but that's all. I haven't a marriage for Robert and Hannah but say they were 25ish then they would have married in about 1811. Interestingly there are biggish gaps between each child, 4 years between the first 2 and then roughly 5 between the rest. Probably babies who didn't survive in between and were not baptised. Robert and Hannah's ages are fairly consistent throughout the census so I believe Hannah was older than Robert, someone else has put forward before that maybe this Hannah is a second wife and he was married to a Hannah before and that indeed Elizabeth was a "late" baby but I think this may be stretching things. I can't seem to get beyond the supposition stage and I have a feeling probably never will on this line. Anyway, thanks again Any other thoughts from anyone gratefully recieved, maybe a marriage for Robert & Hannah? Rose On 2/5/07, Margaret J.
