A friend of mine has asked about this software having been offered the package for £10 + p&p. Highly valuable extras claimed for it but they can probably be discounted. He's recently into his famhist but has so far done with Genes Reunited. Has anyone any experience of this one? Comments would be welcome Many thanks, Gil Upton

There are free software programs available (Legacy (www.legacyfamilytree.com) and PAF (www.familysearch.org)). It's better to try a number of different programs to see what suits best. Many others offer free trials. Google for "genealogy software programs" (*with* the quotes) for others. -- Charani (UK)
