    3. Hi, I've had a bit of a hunt around as well. It's interesting that Emily and Louisa are living seperately in 1871. Emily lodging with an "out of doors" pauper and Louisa is boarder with the school mistress. I can't find either in 1881 but when I searched for all females born South Cerney around 1860 I got these figures 28 1861 England Census 23 1871 England Census 10 1881 England Census 22 1891 England Census 14 1901 England Census There seems to be quite a few missing in 1881. Maybe thats a problem with Ancestry's indexing or maybe there are some pages missing. They can't have died then reappeared in 1891!! This could be "Louisa" in 1891. Interestingly their is a 13 year old William Telling, born London lodging nearby "Just left school". Maybe Louisa went to London and had a baby, maybe he's nothing to do with her. 3. Hi Karen, This family certainly has it's puzzles. You will note that in the 1871 census that Emily is listed as a nurse. The person she was living with died later in the same year. As for Louisa, the school mistress has died by 1881 and the rest of that family are living elsewhere in Gloucestershire with no Louisa (Mary) in site. Even though Emily was born at South Cerney you will have no doubt noted that Louisa was born at Duntisbourne Abbotts. I've even waded through the 1881 census for South Cerney (both regisitration districts of about 20 pages each) in case there was a serious transcription error but nothing showed up as posibilities. Maybe I'm just going to have to assume that they both got "zaped up by those little green men from Mars"!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for looking.
