Hi Carolyn and Mark I think I might be coming in part-way through this thread (I can't seem to find the original message) but I have a STEVENS/STEPHENS line in Gloucestershire. My great great grandfather, George Stephens/Stevens, was baptised in Charlton Abbots in 1820. He had at least one brother, William, and sister, Ann - their parents were Henry and Mary Stephens/Stevens. Does this fit in to your Stevens family? I have an Elizabeth Stephens married in Winchcombe in 1821, bride of Chartlton Abbotts. She had several brothers and sisters.
