Message 5: My gr gt gt grandfather Thomas Lodge was born in Westbury-on-Severn circa 1806. He married Mary Ann Lewis on March 3 1829 at St Mary's, Swansea, Glamorgan. Among their children were: Thomas, Marianna, William, Charles, Elizabeth and Harriett Jane. Elizabeth Lodge (born March 29, 1841 in Swansea) is my gt gt grandmother. Her second marriage was to Henry Hiam (born circa 1846 in Cheltenham) on February 24, 1873 in Swansea, and one of their daughters - my gt grandmother, Jane Hiam - married Samuel Atherton in 1896 in Swansea. If you think there may be a Lodge connection (especially with the Glamorgan link) I'd be grateful for any other information you may have on the family. Jenny
