Hi Pauline, I am not sure if anyone has replied to this, but I got my colleagues at work {Cheltenham Ref. Library] on my day off, to have a look for you! SUTER - W.J. in C from 1880, located at Royal House, Montpellier St, records end 1900 WAITE - F.J. in C from 1883, partner of pettitt. located at High St until 1902, then changes to Imperial Buildings, this is the last record HOLLOWAY- S. 1888-1900 located at Rostrevor House. 1900 last record, but entries for J Holloway begin - 1900-1906 at Cambray PINNOCK - C.A. in C from 1900 located at 423a High St, recorded until 1904. GYDE - Gyde & Gyde, 1905-10, same address as Pinnock & records start after Pinnock's end. DIGHTON - portraits by Richard Dighton 1796-1880 - catalogue of an exhibition held at Cheltenham & Worcester 1983. [catalogue ref. 63G927.5] My colleague has written on his notes 'on 4th page' so I don't know if this is a similar photo to the one you describe. Will look later in the week. (am now at home) by 1856 Richard D jnr had settled at Cheltenham, initially as a portrait painter & later as a photographer. He died in Ch in March 1891.
