Hello Listers. I am looking for Henry George Dale b 1841 in Chelsea His father was George DALE b Oct 25 1812. I would like to know if someone can help me with the 1881 census for Cheltenham, Gloucester. I have a George J. Dale on the 1881 family Search but as everyone knows some time J's maybe mistaken for other letters. I was wondering if someone could help with the actual census June

June, Are you sure of the names? In your note you call him Henry George Dale and then ask about a George J. Dale. I looked at the 1881 for George J. and could not find one, so looked at the 1881 & 1891 for Henry Dale and found a Henry J in '81 and the same man in '91 but with the middle name John. He has the correct birth year and was born in Chelsea. He is a book and music seller. Do you have a place of birth or residence for father George in 1841? I looked on the 1841 and there are a lot of George Dales to sort through. If you think this Henry J. is your relative, I can send the family information.
