    3. Thank you Eveline, Fee and David for the helpful information you have sent me, on and off list, regarding James and Ann HARRIS and their family. From the details of the census returns for 1841 and 1851, the possibility now arises that Ann could have been the second wife of James. The fact that there is an eight year gap between the age of Emma and her closest younger sibling, coupled with the fact that I believe Elizabeth (Greenway Cooper) was the name of Emma's mother, leads me to this conclusion. Difficult to be sure of course. I have found too many possibilities of a marriage between a James and Ann between 1837 and 1841. Only one death of an Elizabeth though, and that in the district of Cirencester (under which I see Farmington falls). Just maybe!
