Hi Listers Sarah Lovelace, born in about 1768, married Brice Beard at Thornbury on 7 August 1791. The approximate birth date comes from the record of the Burial of Sarah Beard on 6 March 1839 at Oldbury on Severn. I have not confirmed that this is the correct person although it seems likely given that there is other information placing the Beard family at Oldbury. Sarah and Brice were my g g g grandparents. Brice Beard died in 1834. I have been looking for information about Sarah's family and am wondering if anyone can help. I have found an Elizabeth Lovelace who was married on 22 October 1792 to John Rymer at Thornbury. She may be a sister of Sarah. I am trying to find out where they were born and the names of their parents. Scribe's Alcove has the burials of Daniel Lovelace (23 May 1792) and Jane Lovelace (13 August 1792) at Oldbury. These are possible parents but I have no real evidence that they are the parents of Sarah and/or Elizabeth. Regards Jan Daly Sydney Australia
