I have various references to the Hyatt/Hiett/Hyet/Hiat family in the Westbury on Severn area in the 1640s & 50s - Jeremy Hyet. He seems to have travelled up to London on occasions and was obviously wealthy as he was described as a gentleman. I have other references to Ellen Maria Hyett in 1901, John Hyat in 1551, John Hyet in 1701, and Francis A Hyett in 1908, William Henry Hyett of Painswick House Esq in 1838. I may well have other references, it is just that I haven't hunted them out. If you know more about Ellen Maria or Jeremy Hyett, I would be most interested.
