Sorry I can't help you as my interest in the Godsells effectively ended when Esther Godsall married William Humphreys (my mothers maiden name was Humphreys) in 1817. I know someone has tabled the descendants of Humphrey Godsawe b. abt 1602 Upton On Severn, Worcestershire, right up to the 1980's, somewhere on the web. There may be a clue in there. If you enter "Descendants of Humphrey Godsawe" into Google or another search engine you should find it.
