    3. Hi Mal Have found Henry in 1891 details below and image(s) sent of list Henry Beavis - Head 32 - Builder - Born Devonshire Jane Beavis - wife 33 - Born Redditch, Worcestershire Edward - Son 10 - Scholar - Born Stroud, Gloucestershire Ada - Dau 6 - Scholar - Born Stroud, Gloucestershire Harold - Son 5 - Scholar - Born Stroud, Gloucestershire Arthur - Son 3 - Born Stroud, Gloucestershire Reginald - Son 2 - Born Stroud, Gloucestershire Robert - Son 8mo - Born Stroud, Gloucestershire Eliza Cratchley - Serv 14 - Domestic Servant - Born Painswick, Gloucestershire The previous house was numbered 128 Slad Road(50), the next 133 Slad Road(52), but no number against theirs only 51 the No of Schedule. This is in District 5 of the census for Painswick, my relation Elizabeth Ricketts and family were in District 4, so obviously they split Slad Road into two areas for this census. In 1871 he is in Painswick with George W Cox - Head 41 - Compositor - Born West Cowes, Hampshire Emma Cox - Wife 37 - Laundress - Born Stroud, Gloucestershire Harry W - Son 10 - Scholar - Born Painswick, Gloucestershire Henry Bevis - Nephew 14 - Plasterers Labourer - Born Stroud, Gloucestershire In 1861 have found him with William, in Stroud, as follows (Harry/Henry are often mixed) William Beavis - Head 30 - Cutter at an Outfitters - Born Exeter, Devon Eliza Beavis - Wife 30 - Born Stroud, Gloucestershire William - Son 7 - Born Stroud, Gloucestershire Harry - Son 3 - Born Stroud, Gloucestershire Robert G - Son 5Mo - Born Stroud, Gloucestershire There is a death for a William Beavis born abt1831 in Jun Qtr 1868 in Stroud, Gloucestershire, Vloume 6a Page 196 for the certificate and for Eliza Beavis born abt1831 in Sep Qtr 1869 Stroud, Gloucestershire, Vol 6a Page 186, which could explain why he is living with relatives in the 1871 census. There is also the death of Emma Maria Beavis in Stroud in Mar Qtr 1859 who may be another child who died as an infant Robert Beavis is staying with the same Cox family as Henry in the 1881 census. Hope that helps you in your search. thanks Tony > The details I have concern my grandmother Levia Mary (Powell) and her > first husband Henry Robert Beavis who was a builder.
