Hello again, Gary. Have just been looking at the LIDDELL family. Are you linked to Thomas GAY and Margaret ALDRIDGE who married in 1703? If so, we may be connected. I am descended (I'm pretty sure) from Henry GAY who married Judith in 1669 in Stroud. I believe Thomas GAY who married in 1703 was their son (bap.1675). I'm really trying to discover whether there was any connection between the Nathaniel GAY who married Martha CANTON in 1729 and the family descended from Henry GAY and Judith. [I think she was Judith CLISSOLD.] However, I've found no record on the IGI of there being a Nathaniel GAY born in Stroud - or anywhere else - in about 1700.
