    3. Dear Listers In 1881 Daniel Peter Vick was married to Lydia (nee Vick?) & he died in 1888 leaving 4 young children with his widow.  Children: Daniel, Elsie, john, Amy. Is there anyone out there who might be researching this family? I am trying to identify the family of Mary Hodges who married James Godsell in Dymock, Gloucs, 14 October 1790. She is unlikely to be the same Mary Hodges, daughter of William and Hannah Hodges (nee Taylor), who married William King (spelt "Ring" in the register) in Dymock two years later, for two main reasons. 1) The Mary who married James made her mark in the register and the Mary who married William signed the register and 2) Both couples were producing children at the same time. If anyone has information which could solve this I would be most grateful. 3. Hello, I have Vicks in my family tree, what are you looking for? Lydia seems to have done well after being left with four little children, 1901 shows her as being a farmer.
