Hi Tony If you look at Free BMD, you will find Births Dec Q. 1911 gives William H DOWDESWELL mother TRUMAN . Likewise Clara and Doris later on (you can find these for yourself on BMD) also have TRUMAN as mother's maiden name. So this may be your Rose. Looking further on, it would appear that there were other chn Cecilia 1917 Albert 1918 Stella 1923 and Walter 1929 Don't take this as definite, but see what you think. Haven't come up with the marriage though. Hi again Tony If my previous info is correct, on 1901 census Gloucester, the Rose TRUMAN living at 4 Deacon St Gloster (d.o Wm and Mary Ann) b. c. 1892 may be the one you are looking for. There is also a William DOWDESWELL born about 1881 parents Wm E amd Ann. He has a sister Clara so it could be him. This may help you to whittle down the year of marriage somewhat. Place probably Gloucester. How's the weather in Ontario? Hope this helps.
