Hi Pat I can remember my grandfather talking about 'Old King Street' in Bristol - I'm not sure if the 'Old' bit may have been dropped now - but as far as I know it's a road near the City Centre, which runs between Queen's Square and Baldwin Street - towards the floating harbour near Bristol Bridge.
