Hi Ann Thanks for that - he must be on the Gwinnett tree somewhere though I have not followed up on the female lines yet; too much to do sorting the male ones out. I can trace my Gwinnetts back to Dudley with ease, it is finding evidence of a connection with the Gloucestershire ones that is my problem though I am 99.9% sure of where they connect - just can't prove it! In this months copy of Your Family Tree no 69 on page 97 there is an article under Seeking, for Tonks and I noticed that one of the persons referred to is a Thomas Gwinnett Tonks (c1829- 1907) baptised in Dudley Worcs and lived in Shoreditch/ West Ham .
