Hello listers I have just joined this list in the hope that someone is related to or researching the SALLISs in the above villages and elsewhere in Glos. and Worcs. I am connected to Benjamin SALLIS (1787-1875) who moved to Brighton, SSX via Much Marcle in Herefordshire. Benjamin was the son of Benjamin SALLIS (1736-1809) and Dorothy PENDRY. So far I have researched back to Edward b abt 1624 who married Martha -?- in abt 1648 and had children in Teddington, Worcs. using online sources, mainly the IGI. I have found the excellent parish register transcriptions web site by William Good for Forthampton, which showed me that there are more SALLISs who stayed in Gloucestershire.
