    1. [GLS] Query-Ballinger`s-and Parish Records.
    2. Hi,I have a query about two children.SAMUEL BALLINGER baptized 12th February 1807 at Minsterworth, living in Churcham & JOSEPH BALLINGER baptized 15th February 1807 at Churcham. Both have what appears to be the same parents BENJAMIN & HANNAH BALLINGER. I suppose my query is could mistakes have been made with either the recording of the baptism`s or the transcribing, and could they actually be brother`s baptized on the same day. With regards Rita [nee Ballinger].

    3. Hi Rita Not sure where you got your information from but I checked the Churcham and Minsterworth registers today and found the following: Churcham: 1806 Jan 26 Joseph s.o. Benjamin & Sarah Ballenger baptised 1807 Jun 14 Mary Ann d.o. Benjamin & Sarah Ballenger baptised Minsterworth: 1807 Feb 15 Joseph AND Samuel sons of Benjamin and Hannah Ballinger (of Churcham)baptised 1808 Oct 9 Joseph s.o. Benjamin and Hannah Ballinger (of Churcham) baptised I found no burial in either parish for Joseph bap 15 Feb 1807 but I found a burial in Churcham of Sarah Ballenger on May 29 1811. It looks as though there are two Benjamins. The GFHS Marriage Index has: 1802 Benjamin Ballinger married Hannah Copner at Minsterworth on 16 March The IGI has: 1794 Benjamin Ballinger married Sarah Bishop at St Mary de Lode church, Gloucester on 19th October. Hope this helps Liz _______________________________________________ Elizabeth Jack Hidden Heritage: www.hidden-heritage.co.uk Researching BLINKHORNE, SOSBE, GWINNETT GFHS Journal Editor -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of [email protected] Sent: 30 September 2008 16:28 To: [email protected] Subject: [GLS] Query-Ballinger`s-and Parish Records.
