Henry Robert Beavis, born 1858, married twice but I have been unable to find his death registration. He was alive in 1901 but his second wife was widowed and remarried in 1915. His father William is also proving difficult to pin down as there are a couple of possible candidates. On Henry's marriage cert in 1895 it states that father William was an outfitter. I presume (although perhaps I shouldn't) that this was also in the Slad/Painswick/Stroud area. Yes he married Levia Mary Powell in 1895, His first wife was Jane Agnes Holton and they married in 1880. Jane died in 1895 leaving five young children. Levia remarried as Mary Beavis in 1915 to Samuel Howard at Crickhowell.
