Tricia: The Time Archive is available online at some public libraries so far as I am aware. But my main point in replying is that your reference to Nelmes caught my eye. I am currently researching the Batten families of Wickwar, Westerleigh and Iron Acton. In the will of George Batten of Iron Acton (probate 1806) his daughter Mary Nelmes wife of Thomas and her children George, Mary, John, William, Sarah and Robert are named amongst the beneficiaries. I believe this family lived in the Berkeley area. Just a long shot, but if any of these Nelmes are of interest to you, let me know. Regards, Derek

Hi, I have access via the library at work. So I would go to any University library as you would be able to access it there. I don't know what the procedure is in your part of the world, but here in Australia anybody can use a University library but staff and students have borrowing rights. There are also a few providers that offer it but you would probably have to buy a subscription. This archive is available through a subscription service (Gale, I think). I suggest you try your local library - if they don,t have access directly they should be able to point you in the right direction. In Sydney, I can access it from home through the State Library and my locl council library using my membership number to log in.
