I am attempting to find out more information about Thomas WALL born c. 1771 in Stroud. Particularly I would like to find out more about his parents, but I have not been able to locate any documents noting this information. He married Rebekah/Rebecca Wall (nee Purnell) on January 20, 1801 in Stroud. Her parents were Samule Purnell and Hester Purnell. Rebecca and Thomas had seven children (Robert Purnell, Esther, Thomas, Esther Webb, Rebecca, Thomas, and Charles) all born in either Stroud or Stoudwater At some point the family seems to have moved to Stoudwater then at least one member of the family (Robert Purnell Wall) moved to Bristol. -John
