If you visit the Gloucestershire FHS site at http://ww3.gloucestershire.gov.uk/bmd/MainMenu.aspx You will see that the mother's maiden name is NASH. If you enquire on births using BENNETT & NASH then you will find 5 births all in Charlton Kings. There is also on this a potential marriage in 1878 between John BENNETT and Sarah NASH. I haven't looked at census but that would be the next step to confirm if these are related.
