    3. The National Archives appears to have a lot of information about this company. I wouldn't be surprised if he was living in Coventry (or another location) for the Duration.     3. Thanks for the suggestion, Eliz, but it's almost certainly Gloucester - he was living in Dynevor Street in the city, which I see still exists. I'll have a look at the National Archives & see what I can find.
