A Chicago resident, on Oct. 14, 1927, she eloped with Richard Cable MORENUS to Crown Point, Lake Co., Indiana. Divorced by 1935 when he remarried. She was chosen from a field of 3,000 women "as the most suitable girl for a movie career" and apparently did some movie work when not modeling in the 1920s and 1930s. She's enumerated as a "guest" at the Cedar Hotel in Chicago on the 1930 census. What happened to Leona?
