He was baptised 27 Apr 1842 in Salem Lutheran Church, Bloom Twp., Fairfield Co., OH as the son of Daniel and Eve Glick. Daniel was b abt 1788 PA, Eve abt 1797. Another known child was Adam David Clinton GLICK b 20 Mar 1839, baptised same place on 8 May 1839. I found them in the 1850 census: CENSUS: 1850 Bloom Twp., Fairfield Co., OH - fam #1509 GLICK, Daniel 62y farmer b PA ", Eve 53y b PA ", Adam D. 11y b OH ", Slvanis? 9y male b OH ", Sylanda ?y female b OH Daniel GLICK and "Eave Scott" (think this is a bad transcription of the word SOLT) were married 26 Apr 1821 in Fairfield Co., OH. My guess is that there were many other children by this marriage since the first I have record of was 18 years later in 1839. I have many, many other GLICKs in the database pertaining mostly to Bloom township of Fairfield Co., Ohio. "David" Glick may be in the database more than once as perhaps "Daniel" or married to a different individual. He is not linked to any of the other existing lineages I was able to figure out by census info, partition records, etc. I do know that all of the Glicks during that time period came from PA, and many did leave for northwest Ohio (such as Henry county) and Indiana, as well as other points west. At www.familysearch.org there is some submitted info on Paul that says he's the son of Daniel and Eve (SOLT) GLICK. Same birthdate that I show for Paul. I _do_ have a Daniel and Catherine Elizabeth (SOLT) GLICK in the database, but they were married in 1813 and seem to be of a different generation.
