I have the following information from a secondary source: Lydia was born on 1/7/1844. She being the youngest received benefits the older siblings worked so hard to get. Her education was not neglected, she did not stay home & work, she spent 7 month's a year in school. The erection of her parents new home afforded her a better social life & privileges. She grew up to be a more refined lady. She was babied. At the age of 23 she was married to William Glick, a son of Dan Glick a native of Ohio. They began their life on a farm that (as of 1/23/1953) their grandson William Sheperson now lived. The farm constituted 120 acres & was purchased at a small cost. Quiet a bit of the land was cleared & developed. It yielded them abundantly throughout their entire life. It was at this place that their two children were born: Sarah; & Palleina. After 1900 they moved to Mulberry & left the farm in the care of Palleina & her husband, who continued its cultivation. William died on 1/9/1904 & Lydia died on 8/13/1907. They were both members of the Methodist Church of Mulberry & politically were Democrats. They were considered a credit to the community. This sounds like something from the Biographical Record and Portrait Album of Tippecanoe County, but I'm not sure. According to the 1880 census, William and Lydia had two children: Mary Orilla Glick (14) and Iva Ann Glick (7). William and Lydia were married in 1865, so there would not be older children that have moved away. Lydia was living with her daughter Mary and Mary's husband Sheperdson (I can't make out the first name) in the 1900 census. I could not find a William, suggesting that he had passed away. I'm beginning to think the biography is in error. Does anyone have any additional information on this line that may help? Thanks!
