They resided in the Woodstock, Virginia, area in 1812. They had 12 children: Joshua, born 1787, died in infancy; John A., born 1789, died 1864; Joseph; Magdalena; Saloma; Barbara; Abraham, Jr.; Anna; Anamary; Solomon; Martin; and my great-great-grandfather, Samuel D., who married Catherine Heffner on 4 Jan 1836.
