    2. FYI, Susan ______________________________ Forward Header __________________________________ Subject: Re[2]: Glass/ Hartzell Author: Susan K. McMahan at ARCM03 Date: 9/22/98 9:21 AM Hi Elaine, I believe Peter Glass may have been Mathias's brother. Peter and Anna Maria remained in Adams Co PA. If Andrew was in that general area, it is possible that he was a descendant of Peter. I am posting this to the Glass mailing list on Rootsweb.com. Perhaps another researcher is familiar with Andrew Philip Glass. I did not find a Jacob Hartzell born in 1770 that remained in PA in my collection. I did find one born in 1768 that was in York Co PA. Perhaps this is your Jacob. Perhaps another researcher has information on your Jacob Hartzell in Shippinsburg PA. If you think this might be your family, I can give you several more generations back. I have 2 glass in my records but they are not Effa and Christine. My GGG Grandmother Margaret was married 3 times to her 3rd marriage she married Andrew Phillip Glass. Andrew was also married before to Onilla Woods. Andrew and Onilla Glass children were Oliver, Charlie, Emma, Also Frank Bish my Great Uncle married Ellen Lucinda Glass. My Hartzell/Hirtzell line Start with Jacob 1st.1770 as of yet I do not have a George Henry, but I cannot beleive how big that family was. Jacob is my 4th Great grandpa I don't have all the information on him yet just his children Jacob II, Roseann, John,. When I went to Manor Cemetary in Shippensville PA I found 21 Hartzell tombstones that I could read. I need to make another trip there to get dates. I have only been workin on this for maybe 6 months. I am lucky that my family still lives in PA I do that Country and try to get there as much as I can. Well I have rattled enough I hope we have linked Blessings and abundance to you and yours Elaine ---------- > From: Susan.K.McMahan@mcdermott.com > To: elaine@madbbs.com > Subject: Re: Glass/ Hartzell > Date: Monday, September 21, 1998 9:34 AM > > Hi Elaine, > > Yes to both.
