Hi List members, especially those of you who have roots originating in Virginia. I have just found this wee note in my records ..... John Glass, Jacobite prisoner, transported probably to Virginia on "Scipio" ex Liverpool 30 Mar 1716. This would have been immediately after the 1715 uprising. Jacobite is given to those who sympathise with the Stewart/Stuart cause. Regards Bruce, List Owner, New Zealand.
