My family has done alot reserch on the family names and I am cont search for more information on the Glass name specifically. Grand mother was Melvina Glass-Lane b feb 21 1890 Bentinevill Ark.. Married a Thomas Uriah Gilley(born choctaw nation ) b sept 26 Henderson Tx 1886. Her mother was Menure Isabel Glass daughter to Chief Glass-indian name Adetaki? I have been advised that we were of the "Cherokee Nation" a lineage of chiefs.Also that we were Creek, Choctaw, Cherokee...who knows what else.. I know there was alot of prejudice toward family growing up due to the way they looked and being from Vinita area okl. Thank you for any feedback.
