Lucy A. ??? b. 11 March 1834 in Tipton County, Tennessee, USA b. 13 Jan 1843 They had several children, one of whom was my grandfather: Bishop Eric Edmon Glass (married three times prior to my Hautia Pace b. 25 July 1878 grandmother who was Bishop and Hautia had five children: Bishop E. Glass, Jr.; J. C. Glass, Wilbur Orris Glass, Dorothy Glass Turner and June Glass Ward. My father is: Wilbur Orris Glass Alvelda Townsend b. 13 September 1918 m. b. 28 February 1917 Tipton County, TN d. 3 January 1963 Dad married Ada Lee Townsend in 1967; they have no children I married Douglass Wayne Gilbert on 21 August 1960 and divorced in 1979. We had one daugher: Eliza Townsend Gilbert b. 28 February 1969 Charlotte, NC I am remarried to Harry Perrine Le Quier I have one sibling as follows: Jane Marie Glass married on 7 August 1977 Andrew A. Ruotsala b December 1946 b.?? in Vermont, USA Memphis, TN (but we lived in Tipton County) They have one daughter: Ellen Margaret Ruotsala b. 29 (I think) June 1982 This may be more information than you want, but it shows the paucity of information I have. My MOST WANTED INFORMATION is this: Parents (names, birth & date dates, location of birth and anything else possible) of my great grandfather Julius Caesar Napoleon Glass, b. 11 March 1834 in Tipton County, TN. I have not been to the county courthouse but have looked at microfilm of records of deeds and wills and can find absolutely nothing about who my great-great grandparents were. My grandfathers name was Fred Burt Glass, born between 1873 and 1876 in Guernsey County, Ohio. I have narrowed this down to 1874 as a male Glass was born to Sarah A. Logan and Robert Glass. The only reason I think this one is a good possibility is that my aunt Mary Logan Glass remembers something about about her grandma being named Sarah and my aunts middle name had to be Logan because the connection was General John Alexander Logan. My grandfather died in the early 1900's and he really didn't have much to do with his children, Fred, Mary, Jack. And my father, Jack who is 83, remembers his father Fred Burt Glass very little.
