The following abstracts of tax lists in Halifax Co., VA include several GLASS families. I have been trying to determine the parents of Winny GLASS b. VA ca. 1782 who married James ARNOLD, Jr. (b. ca. 1783) in Halifax Co., VA in 1805. I have also been trying to determine the parents of Benjamin GLASS b. VA ca. 1782 who married in Henry Co., VA in 1810 to Susannah FRANKLIN. The children of these two couples intermarried in Barren Co., KY in 1836. Perhaps this information will be of use to others researching these names. You will need to view these tables using a monospaced font like Courier because the tables are "tabbed" using spaces and all the characters must be the same width (monospaced font) or the tables will look terrible. The ARNOLDs may or may not be related to BOSTICK. Susannah FRANKLIN is related to STONE, but maybe not the STONEs listed here.
