Good morning everyone. I would like to hear from any list members that have established Scottish connections. I have spent the last few weeks tidying up a lot of accumulated data into searchable databases. If you have known Scottish connections then please send me ALL that you have on your family and I shall see if I can help you extend your family. Some of you may have already sent me data by E-Mail before, however I would ask you to send it to me again. I shall print off each E-Mail on the subject and put them in a seperate file. If you have quite large Scottish family you can send it as a Gedcom attachment. It would be more helpful to send ALL of your Scottish ancestry than just a small part of the top (oldest) part as it may be that I have data on persons in your tree further down from the top. My Scottish ancestry has at times been involved with the following areas of Scotland. Glen Muick/Crathie & Braemar/Birse in Aberdeenshire, Fordoun/Auchenblae/Laurencekirk/Fettercairn in Kincardineshire, Arbroath/St Vigean's in Perthshire, Cramond/Liberton/Kirkliston in Edinburgh. It is quite likely that parts of the family can be found in other areas of Scotland. I also have family connections to New Brunswick/Montreal/Vancouver in Canada, California in the USA and New South Wales/Queensland in Australia. If I can help some of you Scottish researchers, I may end up helping myself. Isn't that what genealogy is all about? >From a wet but warm (18 deg C.) day here in New Zealand, have a great weekend, and best regards to you all, Bruce Glass.
