Good morning all, I am looking for information on Vincent GLASS who was born around 1770 to 1775. He lived in Campbell Co., VA in 1790 and married Susanna Listern, this information from "Early American Marriages: Virginia to 1800". I also found a Vincent who married Nancy Rossor in 1796 in Campbell Co., VA but do not think it is the same Vincent since I found Susanna listed in the 1850 Noxubee Co., MS census. The marriage record to Nancy was listed in Encyclopedia of American Quaker Genealogy: Alexandria, Virginia and Washington, D. C., which makes me think the Vincent who married Nancy was Quaker. I am not sure about divorces during their lives but since Susanna was still alive in 1850 I am assuming they are different Vincents. Any thoughts on that assumption? For Vincent and Susanna I have the following children: James G. Glass b. abt. 1791 VA m.Rebecca Allison 1811 in AL Jesse Woods Glass b. 1802 VA m. Sarah Florence Henderson bef. 1824 Joel G. Glass b. abt 1797 VA m. Ann bef. 1829 Rhoda Glass b. abt 1799 VA m. John H. Hines bef. 1824 Hiram M. Glass b. abt 1829 (could be from another Vincent due to birthdate) I various sources I have found multiple Vincents listed, such as tax rolls and land records.
