Elizabeth Glass Fegan was noted for her beautiful weaving and lace making. Many specimens of her handwork are in the possession of the Janes Edward (Uncle Neddie) Fegan family descendants. "After the death of her husband Elizabeth Fegan kept house for her Bachelor son, Lazarus who farmed in Tuscarora. When he moved to Iowa she returned to Amberson Valley, lived a short while with the James Edward Fegans and later lived with her son Matthew where she died." From the letters of Barbara Fegan Sanderson a grand daughter, Elizabeth Glass Fegan was of German descent.
