Bruce, Stick another pin in Naperville, Illinois (30 miles SW of Chicago). Although there is at least one other GLASS searcher here, our lines do not seem to converge. I am a descendant of James GLASS, b. August 1785 in Ireland d. June 1837 in Pope County, IL, and Hannah Elizabeth BARNHILL. They lived in York District, SC before coming to IL. Their children were Jane (1785-1853), Isabelle (1787-?), Mary "Polly" (1789-1869; my ancestor, m. William CLANAHAN), David Barnhill (1790-1873), Terzah, (1794-1826), Samuel B. (1798-1866), Francis Greenberry (1799-1867), James McClenahan (1803-55), Sally (1804-?), Hugh Berry (1804-91), Robert Alexander (1807-55), and Lucinda (1810-54).
