Hi list members, just a couple of items I have found in my archives. 1/ From New Zealand World War 1 (1914/18) Embarkation Rolls. GLASS Thomas, Rifleman, Miner. Next of kin Mis L. Glass, Aucxen Gree, Glengarnock, Ayreshire, Scotland. If this one fits someones genealogy, more information may be able to be gained from NZ Army records. 2/ GLASS Hugh (1817-1871), speculator, squatter and merchant, was born at Porta-ferry, County Down, Ireland, son of Thomas Glass, merchant, and his wife Rachel, nee Pollock. If this man belongs to someones genealogy, I have a two page copy of his exploits in Victoria, Australia. The list now has almost 100 members and seems to be ticking over quite well at the moment. I would suggest that if you posted information some time ago that you re-post it for the benefit of the newer members. If you have lost items from early Digests please let me know the Digest Number and I can send it off to you. I am archiving all of the items posted. >From a cold, wet and windy winters afternoon in New Zealand, best of luck to you all in your research. Regards Bruce Glass, List Master.
