Hello to all of you... I have been referred to this location to post my glass request. I know so little about the people i am seeking but hope it jogs your memory... here goes: James GLASS was in Ohio in 1828. He is mentioned in Hill's History of Knox County, 1876-1877, page 452... and was elected as one of the wardens and vestrymen of Easter Monday 1828 at Harcourt Parish, College Twp., Gambier, Ohio. James GLASS was associated with early Kenyon College. His daughter, Charlotte Amelia GLASS married Nicolas TORODE March 28, 1833 in Knox county... Docket 1808-38 Probate Court of Knox County records. I don't know where James GLASS came from, or where he went, or where he died... He had a brother, Alfred W. GLASS, married to Eleanor. If you have any information or can connect with this sketchy family outline, I will be very grateful. thank you... A
