He feels that he and I have a connection here, but I'm not at all convinced as of now. GEN I -- John Glass b Scotland 1800-1810 est. + Rebecca Simpson b. England same date span 1. - Mary Ann Glass b. 6 June 1836 in Ireland, d. 29 August 1907 in Reno Nevada. GEN II -- Mary Ann Glass (see above) married Dennis Short in March 1855 in St. Andrews, New Brunswick. 1. - Daniel Edmund Short bapt. January 1858 at age 10 days in St. Andrews RC church - New Brunswick. 2. - John S. Short b. 17 August 1860 in St. Andrews, d 3 December 1937 in Reno, Nevada. + Metta Kirstine Johnson, 8 April 1893 in Wadsworth NV 3. - Edward D. Short b 1862 in Maine 4. - Charles T. Short b. 1864 in Maine 5. - Will A. Short b. 1866 in Maine 6. - Harry Short b. 1868 in Maine 7. - Frances Shsort b 1870 in Maine According to the obit that James Williams sent me, Mary Ann Glass had 8 children so someone is missing here. Perhaps a child died before reaching maturity. The children all emigrated to either Nevada or California. From his info, it seems as if several of them were miners. All church information which is from Mr. Williams is listed as Episcopal. I don't think they are connected to "my" John Glass unless the John Glass here in GEN I is a cousin.
