Unfortunately, I don't have anything on record re. a William born in Stoke Newington circa 1818. The Stoke Newington Glanvills are not a part of my research, and I picked up that will at random. However, I have found reference to a George Frederick Glanvill of Stoke Newington ("Stokey", as its known locally) who died some time before June 1859. Also, there were father and son Caleb Glanvills, descendants of Richard Glanvill (b. ca. 1728) of Cambdridge, who were merchants at the famous Blackwell Hall in the city of London in the 18th and 19th C. If this was a family name, your George Caleb could be a descendant of theirs.
