I could not find Annie in Ancestry's index of the 1901 census unless she was recorded as born elsewhere: Annie Glanville born about 1895 at Birmingham, adopted daughter of John and Annie HERBY, living in Birmingham. Ann Glanville born about 1895 at Quebec, Durham, daughter of James and Annetta GLANVILLE living at Esh, Durham. Your Annie's birth certificate should give her parents.
