Her parents were William Pant and Elizabeth Smith, married 1840 (from BMD). However, William may have been married previously to Susanna ??? Siblings for Mary Ann were Sarah (1847), George, Jessie, Charlotte (1855), William, and Emily. William and Elizabeth came to Canada in 1856.
