I was told that the 1850 census shows a son named James Glanville that was 10 years old and born in England so I would assume that Fannie and James were married around 1835 - 1840 time frame. Let me know your thought. Below is further information that I have: From the 1860 Federal Census of Jefferson County, Missouri; Valle Township, Avoca Post Office, houshold #22, taken August 19, 1860: Glanvill, James; age- 44, male, married, occupation- miner, real estae- $1500, born- England ---- Frances; age- 45, female, born- England ---- Frances; age- 14, female, born- MO, in school ---- Cora; age 12, female, born- MO, in school ---- William; age- 9, male, born- MO, in school ---- Elizabeth; age- 5, female, born- MO Birth Records of their children show Fannie's maiden name at Hancock In 1870: From the 1870 Federal Census of Jefferson County, Missouri; Valle Township, Hillsboro post Office, household #132, taken August 29, 1870: Glanville, James; age- 54, male, occuption- farmer & lead miner, real estate- $1500, personal property- $440, born- England, parents foreign born ---- Fannie; age- 54, female, occupation- keeps house, born- England, parents foreign born ---- William; age- 16, male, at home, born- MO, parents foreign born ---- Elizabeth; age- 12, female, at home, born- MO, parents foreign born 1880 Census shows James and Hannah Granville, both 64 born in England. Fannie (Frances) Granville , d July 30, 1885. Age: 70 yrs; Born in Cornwall, England She is buried in Valle Mines cemetery.......she and husband James Granville are listed in the 1850 census for Jefferson County, both born in England, she in 1815, he in 1814.
