I have recently made some new contacts that have given me some new information. My husband descends from William A. Glanton, who I believe is the younger brother of Dempsey. According to William's granddaughter he walked away from the family some time after 1905 and they never heard from him again. I tried to make contact with mforest but her e-mail address bounced.
