There are 6 Walter Charles or Charles Walters reg in 1885 or 6 none of which have the supposed fathers name. Strangely all but one are in the London "area". I get no Charles Robert or Robert Charles being registered but it wouldn't be beyond reason that he was born before 1837. Then I took a look at London baptisms and using Charles Robert as father, there was a Violet baptized in Lewisham (one of only two with a father Charles Robert) Eliz Not Today and Not without a Fight (Anon) For all that has been, thanks.
