Pamela, Thanks for that info. It is sometimes very confusing finding the correct person with so many mistakes in the spelling of the names. It seems that Ellen in the 1871 and 1881 Census is the same person but now who were William and Ellen Williams? More researching here as I have no info about this family and if she was a neice, might be on the Aunts side of the family? I am getting excited wondering if it is the Hooley or Fitzgerald side. Have not checked this out as yet. I have no information regarding the rest of the family at the moment. .ongoing research. As you can see, names repeated throughout the family so have to check b.date first. If anyone on this list is related to any of the above, would love to hear from you. Kind regards, Mary ----- Original Message ----- From: "Pamela Marsden" <[email protected]> To: "Mary" <[email protected]> Cc: "Glam List" <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, August 22, 2013 9:19 PM Subject: Ellen Hooley b1864 r There is an 1861 census entry for a Thomas Hooley b 1836 Ireland with wife Mary A and two children, Mary A aged 3 and William aged 7 months, in Henry Street, Cardiff. Could they be Ellen's parents and siblings? In 1871 Ellen Hooley b 1864 is described as a niece living with William and Ellen Williams in Roath, Cardiff. I think she must be the "Gellon Hooly" aged 17 in the same household in 1881 now described as general servant. I haven't found her in 1891. Pamela
