Hi List, I have a copy of a 1861 Census. No name of town of district written on top but think it might be Glamorganshire and the Town might be Cardiff. As under; Page 40 801 No. Street Name of Occupants age Employment where born 216 3 Henry Street William WILLIAMS Mar. 34 Lab Docks ? Cardiff Eleanor WILLIAMS wife 33 ??? The neighbours in 217 are my Grt Grandparents Thomas and Mary Ann Fitzgerald Hooley It seems that Eleanor Fitzgerald Williams is Mary Ann's sister. Now can anyone with a large magnifying glass, tell me where Eleanor and Mary Ann were born as shown on this Census please I cannot read it and would appreciate hearing from some kind person who might have better eyes than mine. I have always thought they were born in Ireland but looks different on this census and yet in the 1871 Census, Mary Ann is shown witih Thomas and family living at St Marys Parish, Cardiff at 5 Buzzard Street and it shows she is born in Ireland?? Hoping someone can help me with this puzzle. Many thanks for any help. Mary
