Am working on Berry side of Family & apparently there was (gone now) am guessing early pre 1900's a residence on Bryn-y-more Rd., somewhere around the train tracks, called Berry's Cottage. Does anyone know which Berry Family lived there? Have tried the Historical Society but they were unable to help. Do have info on the home William & Margaretta were in abt 1910. But nothing on this Berry Cottage Ellen
There are two places in Swansea called Brynymor Road, with or without hyphens as Bryn-y-mor. Brynymor Road, SA1 runs down from the Uplands to St Helens Road. No train lines nearby. Brynymor Road, Gowerton, Swansea SA4 is some miles out of the city centre, in Gowerton, originally in Loughor parish. There is a main train line in Gowerton, and there used to be a separate one, the L & NWR, which is now largely a cycle track, but neither is very close to Brynymor Road. Was your family in Gowerton?
